2007 Miss World Zhang Zilin

Miss World 2007, the 57th Miss World pageant was held at the Crown of Beauty Theatre, Sanya, and People’s Republic of China on December 1, 2007. It was hosted by Fernando Allende and Angela Chow. Zhang Zilin of the People's Republic of China won the crown and succeeded Miss World 2006.

It was a packed audience in the Beauty Crown Theatre to watch their hometown girl capture the Miss World 2007 title. She was actually the odds on favorite to win, according to British bookmakers. Last week, Miss Zilin was awarded the “best model title” during the competition.

Zhang Zilin was born was 22 March, 1984 in Shijiazhuang, Hebei. She then moved to the Chinese capital, Beijing, where she attended high school from 1996 to 2002. She later completed her studies at the University of Science and Technology Beijing and obtained a degree in business administration in 2006. Zhang is now working as a fashion model.

Zhang Zilin hobbies and sporting interests include: travel, reading, watching movies, writing, 100-meter hurdle, triple jump, swimming, classical and folk dancing, and listing to folk music. Her favourite food is fruit, chocolate, and ice cream. She lives by the motto of “Where there’s a will there’s a way”
