1959 Miss World Corinne Rottschafer

In year 1959, it was the ninth Miss World annual Miss World pageant, was organized on 10th November, 1959 at the place of Lyceum Theatre, London, United Kingdom.

In the Miss World 1959 pageant competition, there were 37 participant competed for the Miss World 1959 but from all contestants, but only one lucky winner was Corinne Rottschafer, Holland.

Corinne Rottschafer was born on May 8, 1938. Corine Spier-Rottschafer won crown of Miss World 1959 contest, represented the Netherlands. She was the first woman to win the title of Miss World from her country.

After the domination to win the pageant of Miss World, she also performed as model, she gained the Miss Europe title in 1957 and competed in Miss Universe in 1958 where she made the top 15 and got the Miss Photogenic award.
