2006 Miss World Tatana Kucharova

Miss World 2006, the 56th Miss World pageant was held at Sala Kongresowa, the main 2,897-seat auditorium at the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, Poland on the September 30, 2006. It was the first time ever that the pageant was held in a European city other than London, United Kingdom, having previously been held there in 2002 after the Nigeria Controversy.

Taťána Kuchařová Was born 23 December 1987 in Trnava, Czechoslovakia, now Slovakia. She has finished the high school and started studying an International Diplomacy collage. Tatana Kucharova is an 18 year-old student from the Czech Republic. Tatana has also become a very well known fashion icon. The most famous designers are choosing her for their collections. As a teenager she was doing occasilonally modelling. At the age of seventeen she took a part in "Miss CR 2006" which she has won.

Tatana Kucharova won the Miss World 2006 beauty contest on Saturday 30 September 2006. It was a first time in history when a Czech or Slovak girl won this comeptition.

Her hobbies include tennis and horse riding and her personal motto in life is "Always be an Optimist."
