1985 Miss World Hofi Karlsdottir

Hofi Karlsdottir was crowned as Miss World 1985 and won the title of 35th Miss World. The beauty pageant was held in the Royal Albert Hall, UK, on 14th November, 1985. From all over the world, there were 78 competitors who competed for the title of Miss World.

At the end of the event, Astrid Carolina Herrera who was the Miss World 1984, crowned Hofi Karlsdottir as Miss World 1985. Hofi Karlsdottir was born on 6th June, 1963 in Iceland.

Hofi Karlsdottir got married to Elfar Rúnarsson. She works in a local kindergarten and her husband works as a lawyer nearby. They have been living together with three children, Anton Örn Elfarsson, Rúnar Karl Elfarsson and Ásta Gígja Elfarsdóttir in Iceland, Garðabær.
